The Role & Records of the Military Archives.
On 4th July 2019 Noelle Grothier (Archivist) and Commandant Daniel Ayotius (Officer in Charge) from the Military Archives, Cathal Brugha Barracks gave a talk and slide-show presentation in the Seanscoil, Ceathrú Thaidhg on the role of the Military Archives and what their records can tell us about activities (both national and local) during World War I and II. This included information on the look-out posts, the coastwatchers, the logbooks, emergency defence plans and Department of Defence administrative files. In attendance were some of the descendants of the Coastwatchers who served at Teachaín a’ Watch (Look-Out Post 63) during the Second World War.

I láthair bhí cuid de shleachta na bhfear a bhí ag faire ag Teachaín a’ Watch (Teach Faire 63) i rith an Dara Cogadh Domhanda.
